KABWARES Plant Labels
Alistair and Jane are a husband and wife team, and owner operators
of KABWARES Plant Labels.

These gorgeous plant labels are created by flattening old spoons, and hand stamping them for their new role in life.
Herb names, family names: Mum's garden, Pop's garden etc, and inspirational quotes such as Live Laugh Love are also available. Or you can customize your own spoon if you wish!
You can purchase these awesome Plant labels at KABWARES online
And gorgeous vintage fabrics from KABWARES online
'Craftumi' store here:
Perfect and practical for any sized herb garden, or pot plants along the
kitchen window sill!
I love the idea of these old spoons being recycled into such unique and useful products and gifts.

La Mia Casa Magazines
Seven vintage 'La Mia Casa' ( My Home) magazines are my lastest ebay score!
Could there be a better source for 70's interior decor, than to go back to the original magazines of the era? And Italian 70's Magazines nonetheless!
The country responsible for giving us Kartell, among many other wonderful things.

My knowledge of the Italian language however, exists mainly only in relation to food - mozzarella, salami, pastrami....but with the help of Google Translate, I will endeavour to guide you through this Italian 70's pictorial wonderland.
(I am abit excited, can you tell?!)
Here are some of my favourite images thus far, from the May and October 1970 issues, but please pop back often as there will be much more 70's goodness from La Mia Casa to come. Enjoy!

Crochet Pot Holders
These colourful treasures from vintage days past, have crocheted their way back into our homes & kitchens in recent years. Fantastic for adding colour, and a great vintage vibe to cosy up any room or kitchen. A big thank you to all the fabulous makers of the gorgeous pot holders pictured here, who so kindly allowed me to show off their beautiful wares. Enjoy!

Retro Ikea
Whilst searching for inspiration for 70's bedroom decorating ideas, I came across these pictorial gems of beds and bedroom sets from the 1976 Ikea Catalogue.
Too good not to share. Enjoy!
