Oh, my...Those parents should have given a little more thought when coming up with activities for their kids. Art lessons and stamp collecting don't require unflattering costumes.
Would it be mean to call these girls tragic? (I bet their Mum made them take dance class) Actually with a little more thought, I think it's the costumes more than the girls themselves, that are tragic.
... or their mum's dream... cause you know who made those costumes... and told them they couldn't watch tv for a month if they didn't put them on (not that I'm speaking from dance class experience or anything...)
Such a pleasure to *meet* your blog!

ReplyDeleteLOL, ah Dana, yet again you make me laugh. Agreed - no costumes required for stamp collecting.x
DeleteIt's the Kevin Bacon/Dirty Dancing thing again! It has lured us all, into dancing dreams!
ReplyDeleteYep - I myself was not immune to the old dancing dream. All those years of ballet and I can barely manage The Nutbush.x
DeleteHee hee, love these pics.
ReplyDeleteHi Hello Vintage! Bless their hearts and their puffy & fringed sleeves.

Yes, the costumes are indeed noteworthy all by themselves. The sheer puffy sleeves are a truly a magical touch.x
