Oh, my...Those parents should have given a little more thought when coming up with activities for their kids. Art lessons and stamp collecting don't require unflattering costumes.
LOL, ah Dana, yet again you make me laugh. Agreed - no costumes required for stamp collecting.x
It's the Kevin Bacon/Dirty Dancing thing again! It has lured us all, into dancing dreams!
Yep - I myself was not immune to the old dancing dream. All those years of ballet and I can barely manage The Nutbush.x
Hee hee, love these pics.
Hi Hello Vintage! Bless their hearts and their puffy & fringed sleeves.
Would it be mean to call these girls tragic?(I bet their Mum made them take dance class)Actually with a little more thought, I think it's the costumes more than the girls themselves, that are tragic.
Yes, the costumes are indeed noteworthy all by themselves. The sheer puffy sleeves are a truly a magical touch.x
... or their mum's dream... cause you know who made those costumes... and told them they couldn't watch tv for a month if they didn't put them on (not that I'm speaking from dance class experience or anything...)Such a pleasure to *meet* your blog!Catherine @ The Spring (in Sydney)http://www.thespringblog.com/
Hi Catherine! LOL - sounds like abit of 'Dance Mum' background knowledge there!! Heading over now to 'meet' your blog! x
