Arthur 1981

Great early 80's film that was a favourite on the old VCR in my household growing up.
Taped off the TV of course - and may have even had the odd ad break taken out here and there. (Remember forgetting to take it off pause again when the ads were over, and realising you've missed recording a whole section of the movie? Disaster.)

Arthur - Original Trailer

And had to include a clip of this scene for my sister -
"Perry you're a dead man...."

  1. That was one of my favorite movies! Dudley Moore was the best possible choice for Arthur, and I loved Sir John Gielgud as Hobson!

  2. I just watched the second clip, and I had forgotten how funny that scene was. It doesn't get any better than "My husband has a gun." "I'm sure he has, Madame. For all I know, he shot it while you screamed."

    1. I haven't seen that scene for ages either and killed myself laughing. I love him standing on the street at the beginning aimlessly yelling out
      "Linda! Linda!".

  3. Thanks for putting that clip up for me! I love the part where he puts the cloth over the non existent baby and says 'you shouldn't hear this.'
