Seven album covers that caught my eye, and my fancy this week...
Steve Warren - Incomparable
Creepy.
Versatile and Fabulous.
Lee likes to play dress ups too.
If he can make it there, he'll make it anywhere.
I think Jerry wants out.
All for one and one for all.
Happy Friday!
Freaky indeed, since I'm reading this at 2:23 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon. Ah, the internet...
ReplyDeleteSteve Warren has a little Jack-Black-on-crack look about him. You nailed it on Mr. Dress Up...That's just creepy on so many levels. Someone should have told Willis Wade to tap his fabulous versatility and pose in a way that made him less awkward. I'd estimate the number of times I'd need Lee Schmidt to come back to be zero, and Lee Towers sounds like the name of a high-rise apartment building. Winchell and Mahoney are actually familiar names from my childhood. They were on TV in the US, and they creeped me out then too. And the Walkers...what can you say about them? I'm almost afraid they are still together today.
Thursday night here. But it is almost TGIF. What to pick, what to pick. Well, if I have to pick one I pick Mr. Dressup. Who I am sure is in prison for an easily guessed crime. So I needn't spell it out for your readers.
ReplyDeleteMr. Dressup was Canada's (better) version of the USA's Mr. Rogers, who show aired 5 times a week on CBC for 29 years and over 4,000 episodes. So, no he didn't end up in jail:

Thanks for the info and link on Mr. Dressup Krammerhead. Good to know. Just having abit of fun with the old album covers.
DeleteLee Schmidt looks like a helpful guy, I'm admiring the Walker do, thinking of possible styling shots for the Freaky Food cook off! Overall a great post Donna, really inspiring, I'm slowly backing out the door now, with a fixed grin, hoping they don't know where I live!
