Kylie and I are very excited to see what everyone has prepared.
Here are few pics just to throw some last minute inspiration into the air...
Prawn & Seafood Jelly Surprise
Some kind of Tomato Soup al la Mousse...
Anchovy & Egg Mousse.
(I can't bear to think about what that 'meat' is on top)

I've just finished making a Pineapple Chiffon Cake circa 1963 (not one of Ruby's) Next up a Chocolate Cake made with Campbells Tomato Soup. I'm on a retro cooking roll Donna! Think I might even make a main course too (mainly so I can inflict it on the fam! Ha!)
ReplyDeletep.s. I've had a little taste test of the Pineapple Chiffon Cake and it's delicious. I think I'm on a winner with that one!
Crikey! You have outdone yourself Kylie. Can't wait to seethe finished goods : ) xx
DeleteI have a really nasty recipe that I'm going to make just for fun, and I'll probably make something good from one of my mother's or grandmothers' recipes.
ReplyDeleteSounds great Dana. Looking forward to seeing both! x
DeleteThe Anchovy and Egg Mousse looks like a Melbourne Cup Day hat! That you can eat! I'd love to take part, but I don't have the energy. Maybe I should 'up' my dietary intake of gelatin.
ReplyDeleteI'm devasted you're not joining in Carmel. I was expecting big things from you!
DeleteNo worries Carmel. I hope you get a chance to pop in and see if anything takes your fancy. How foul is that egg anchovy mousse?!x
DeleteI only have dessert recipes and they look too good. Not kind of disgusting like that mousse!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it foul?! Hope you'll get to pop in.x
DeleteI'm ready to go!
