I guess this really shows my age, but I have no recollection of that TV series at all. I recognized the theme song, but I only remember hearing it on the radio, not on TV. I guess I was too busy chasing a very rambunctious toddler to watch much television at the time! :)
Indeed - not much TV watching going on when one is raising toddlers! (I remember picking Days of our Lives up briefly during that period - Bo Hope Marlena Roman and all the usuals were still there. How can Marlena still look that good?! But I guess that's another post & discussion for another day!) The song was far more successful than the TV Show itself. Show only ran for 3 seasons over 2 years (1981 - 1983). But I too still hear the song every now and then on the golden oldie radio station I tune in to.
This was one of Anthony's favourite shows when he was a kid. We were only talking about it a couple of weeks ago. I didn't watch it that much, but the theme song is firmly entrenched in my memory: "belive it or not?"
I can't watch that video. That show used to irritate me beyond belief. I can't even remember how old I was, but I refused to watch an episode! Ha.
