Busted by the girls dude.
Decent stache on him!
Denim on denim, sunshine, happy rainbow patches and roller skates. Those were the days!!!
ReplyDeleteHoorah! I love these pics - glad you like them too Sister Outlaws : )
DeleteThis was popular in Texas about the time I started teaching in the early 70s. I was a bit too old for it, but I remember my students wearing patches on their jeans.
ReplyDeleteI saw a comment made by someone about these pics on Flickr - that back then, if your jeans got ripped, you patched them up, made them colourful and good as new. They weren't tossed at the first sign of wear and tear like we tend to do now. I love these photos. : )
DeleteOh, that first image is such a lovely flashback!!! I remember those flared jeans, I wanted them so much, but my mom thought they looked silly... When they were almost out of fashion, I got a pair handed down to me by my cousin. I remember the joy:-)
ReplyDeleteGood old hand me downs!! The best kind because they were probably already well worn in. Glad you finally got your flares in the end tove! : )
DeleteWow, transported back about 30 years. I had a pair of jeans which had patches all over the bum. I just loved them. These are great photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks! How cool that you had similar blue jeans with patches. Patches were kind of done by the time I was in my teens - it was all about ripped & frayed jeans. Particularly in the knee area. The more worn n torn the better. : )
