Freaky Friday - Retro Album Covers in The Great Outdoors

After the Comb Over carnage from last week, I thought we'd take a walk through nature.
All you need is some fresh air and a song in your heart.

 There he is! That's him.
Norman Ray - the man with the plan.

I think Chuck took a wrong turn on the way to the
speed dating luncheon.
(Please take your hand out of your pocket Chuck.)

I've gotta say Jim, it's all abit low energy.
I mean come on - you're riding for Jesus!!

Translation - "Chuck! Where are you Chuck? Chuck!!"

Jerry knows what the ladies like.

Raymond's motto was simple - Love me, love my harp.
He didn't make it to the speed dating luncheon either.
Perhaps he could give Chuck a lift back to his car.

Happy Friday!

    1. Lol Kylie. Even Jim's horse looks low energy & listless. I'm betting that was a long day.

  3. I love that you brighten up my dreary Fridays. Thank you.
Here's the thing that I think about each and every one of these: somebody came up with the idea, and everyone said it sounded like a fine idea. Who are/were these people??

    1. Hi Autumn! Apologies for delay replying. I agree - who proofs these covers? What must the printers think when they are printing the covers?
I'm not coping with Chuck - just looks like some dodgy dude loitering in the woods!! : ) x

  4. Sometimes, after looking at covers like these, I wonder if there are just a few of us normal and sane folks on the planet, vastly in the minority and surrounded by millions and millions of dorks who actually bought these albums. It makes me reassess my entire perspective of the world. (The previous comment is part of the series "Deep Thoughts by Dana Perez.")

    1. Ba ha ha Dana. I'm liking the "Deep Thoughts by Dana Perez" series. And I'm with you!
There seems to be an endless supply of these bad covers. Just when I think I've seen it all, there is Raymond on his tractor...with his harp!!

  5. I think I say this every week Donna but this is bloody hilarious. A ride on mower and a harp...never in a million years would I have dreamed up that combination. Yep, Jim needs a bit more passion. Norman and those stripey pants are something else aren't they!

    1. Hi Jane! Lol - the ride on mower/harp combo is taking random concepts to new heights.
Jim needs abit more Eye of the Tiger for his ride for Jesus. I'm assuming it wouldn't be a very long ride? Just a lap or two around the paddock. Normans strides are very special - pretty fancy boots he has too! Hope you are well. Apologies for the delay in my response Jane. x : )
