Workin' at the Car Wash yeah!

Brooklyn Car Wash 1978 - Photograph by Anthony Catalano.

88c for a Car Wash! Thats' what I'm talkin' about.

Many thanks to Anthony Catalano for allowing me to share his photograph.
You can see more of Anthony's cool pics here that I previously featured on
Hung Up On Retro early 2012.

Let's get some 70's vibes rolling with a clip of
Rose Royce performing their 1976 hit 'Car Wash' on Soul Train. (Sound like a DJ!?!)

Enjoy!

  1. I can see us all there cutting up the dance floor with our seventies moves! I'd sport a beaded hairdo if I could, I'm sure Kylie and Dana would fling on some flares and MMMC would bring along her solid gold dancers!
    Keep them coming DJ! xx

    1. LOL - I have a great mental picture of us all cutting up the
Soul Train dance floor. MMMC's solid gold dancers up on the platforms showing us how it's done. x
