Brian liked to walk his own path & insisted on playing his Yamaha like a "Keytar".
And before we head into the weekend, let's celebrate Brian and the Keytar,
with a clip from Aussie music legend John Farnham's "Whispering Jack" tour in 1987.
I recently purchased the "Whispering Jack" LP on a thrift trip, and it's been on
high rotation ever since - such a great album.
Song is "Playing to Win" from John's days as lead singer of Little River Band.

Nice little Keytar solo in there!
Brian is THE MAN...rocking the aviators with gradient lenses, a turtleneck, chain and the coolest mullet ever. I can tell he's a rugged individualist.
ReplyDeleteROFL - ahhh Dana. You make me laugh. You are GOLD! It is quite an impressive mullet isn't it? I was wrong to overlook it.
DeleteYAY! Freaky Friday. I like these posts because I always see them on my Friday night and it puts a skip in my heart. John has a lovely mullet, I must say.
ReplyDeleteYey Rebecca! That makes me smile to know you like Freaky Friday. The mullet is outstanding - deserves a post all it's own.
DeleteBrian is a spunk bubble!
ReplyDeleteLOL - spunk bubble who slays a mean Yamaha. : )
DeleteThis music is solid gold...thanks for sharing. Your blog is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jane! You can't beat the 80's for some good music, big hair and a Keytar!
